Preferred Prerequisite:

  • 5 Years’ Experience in the mortgage loan industry preferred
  • 2 Years Supervisory /Manager experience in a Mortgage Loan Sales Manager Role preferred
  • Prior experience mentoring and developing employees
  • Responsible for generating a client base and network
  • Meet State and Federal Licensure
  • Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System License
  • Credit Score minimum 700
  • Strong business development skills
  • Associates Degree or higher education is preferred
  • Recruiting of Mortgage Loan Officers

Core Role and Responsibility:

  • Provide coaching and overside to Loan Officers by ensuring protocols are followed and business results are met
  • Conduct training in a group and one on one environment
  • Develop Action plans for each Loan Officer
  • Analyze areas of revenue generation opportunities in support of business goals and monitor effectiveness through the sales process
  • Assess business needs and provide CEO & COO with recommendations on training and programs to improve knowledge and skills of loan officers
  • Partner with Operations to ensure pull-through
  • Analyze the performance of sales and set goals with measurable achievable targets
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in supporting loan officers based on best practice sales techniques
  • Interview, identify, hire and assist onboarding of new sales team members
  • Discussing client’s needs
  • Reviewing and recommending the loan products
  • Assisting the client gathering a complete mortgage loan file
  • Working with the Peace Home Lending Operations Team throughout the mortgage loan process.
  • The Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for generating their own client base and network.
  • Ability to expand loan sales.
  • Exceptional communication skills and willingness to serve as an advisor to clients.
  • Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
  • Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the mortgage loan process.
  • Be familiar with and ensure loans originated comply with regulatory and underwriting guidelines.
  • Identify client needs for use products and services.
  • All employees will be responsible for understanding and complying with the letter and spirit of all government regulations including, but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and Safe Act.
